Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Life is full, and plans can shift. At the same time, every appointment is carefully reserved so that your service can be prepared to the highest standard. Changes made too close to the appointment time may limit the attention and detail we’ve prepared for you, and when appointments are missed or changed without enough notice, the time set aside exclusively for you cannot be filled and other guests lose the chance to be seen. This policy is designed to protect the time you’ve reserved, so your appointment remains dedicated to you without disruption or compromise.

Advance Scheduling Adjustments

  • Appointments of 5 hours or more require at least 96 hours (4 days) notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Appointments of less than 5 hours require at least 48 hours (2 days) notice to cancel or reschedule.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less notice than required above will incur a fee of 50% of the service(s) originally booked and reserved for that time slot.
  • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 4 hours’ notice, or missed entirely (“no-show”), will be charged the full price of the service(s) originally booked and reserved for that time slot.
  • In the case of complimentary appointments — such as color consultations or other limited instances — a $100 fee will apply if the appointment is missed or not cancelled within the required notice period, as this time is reserved exclusively for you.
  • To keep the schedule reliable for every guest, repeat cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment in full for future reservations before new appointments can be scheduled.

Late Arrivals

Your appointment is carefully scheduled to allow for the full, customized service we designed for you. Accommodating late arrivals is often not possible without affecting other guests, and the last thing we want is for your service to feel rushed.

Arriving late may also reduce what can be completed or require rescheduling to another date and time. Whether shortened or rescheduled, the appointment will be charged at the full price of the service(s) originally booked and reserved for that time slot.

Payment & Credit Card Authorization

To keep scheduling seamless, a valid payment card on file is required to secure all appointments. The card on file will be charged in accordance with this policy for late cancellations, reschedules, no-shows, or late arrivals.

We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards, as well as contactless payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay. We also now accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for all our hair restoration services. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage for hair restoration services.

Gift Cards

Sharing is caring! Want to share your experience with your friends or family? Gift cards may be purchased for any dollar amount. They are good towards any hair service or purchase of products. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable.

Third Party Gift Cards

We are happy to accept prepaid Visa, MasterCard, and American Express debit/gift cards as payment, however, please note that we can only accept one card per visit/transaction.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of our services. At your discretion, gratuities are graciously accepted by our stylists. For your convenience, gratuities can be added to any card payments during the checkout process. Cash envelopes are available at the front desk register as well. The industry standard ranges from 15% to 20% of the service fee.

Return Policy

Retail Merchandise: Unopened merchandise may be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase. Opened merchandise may be exchanged within 30 days from the date of purchase. Gift cards and services are non-refundable.

Hair Extensions: A 50% deposit is required to secure all hair extension application appointments. If an appointment is canceled after the deposit has been processed, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method. If the appointment is canceled less than four days (96 hours) before the scheduled date, the full deposit is forfeited.

Animals

In accordance with Massachusetts Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, no animals or pets can be allowed in the hair salon, with the exception of trained animals to assist the hearing impaired, visually impaired, or the physically disabled.

Kids

We know you’re crazy about your kids. And we know that finding time to yourself in your crazy-busy day can be next-level-insanity. But our salon is far from babyproofed (scissors! hot tools! tables with sharp corners!), so for your little ones’ safety, your peace of mind, and we kindly ask all mamas (and papas!) to follow the following kid-tested, stylist-approved rules:
  • No unsupervised kiddos under age 12 in the salon. (And no, none of our staff can babysit, as much as we’d like to!)
  • If you have to bring your kids along, please bring an additional adult to watch them.
  • No babes in your lap while you’re getting your haircut. (They’ll hate being covered in hair!)
